Techtum signs distribution agreement with Diagonal Bio

Techtum signs a non-exclusive distribution agreement with Swedish company Diagonal Bio to market and sell their LAMPlify® products in Sweden. LAMPlify® is a patented platform utilizing loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) to amplify a specific genetic marker in a sample, in combination with electrochemical sensors to detect the amplified marker. This provides rapid, robust and cost effective genetic analyses that do not require separate DNA or RNA extraction. The first device that was launched in 2023 is intended for research use only and Diagonal Bio and Techtum launched a pilot study at the end of 2023 at a veterinary clinic in Stockholm with the purpose of evaluating a test with three markers for horses that normally require centralized testing facilities.
