The first liquid handling system with an integrated camera and state of the art algorithms. This enables Myra to see what it needs to do. Myra automates and simplifies pipette calibration and monitors for user errors in deck layout such as missing tubes*.
Pressure based liquid level sensing can monitor the aspirate and dispense process for errors.
Myra has best in class accuracy and precision of less than 2% for 2 μL pipetting volumes. Also, a high precision pipette tip positioning for small aperture tubes such as 384 well plates. Using 384 well pipette tips means you swap out tips less often.
An interchangeable pipette head gives you more flexibility with your workflow. Each pipette head contains its own calibration data removing the need to re-calibrate on each exchange.
Myra now includes an option to vortex, a high-speed rotating motion of the Myra head to improve and speed up mixing of reagents.

A closed pipette tip waste container minimises the footprint area and reduces contamination risk.
UV LED lights and a compact HEPA filter reduce the chances of qPCR contamination. The compact design of both parts reduces size and weight of the Myra unit.
An open SBS platform for all consumables types. We provide various blocks to house standard tube formats including our multi-functional Myra Block that provides flexibility in setup without compromising space. Add your own plate or tube type to the library combined with in house ability for BMS to 3D-print blocks to house exotic tubes or plate types at your request.
With the introduction of a Myra magnetic block, techniques such as magnetic bead-based extraction and next generation sequencing (NGS) library prep are now possible.
Additional support for a cooling block allows reagents to remain at lower temperatures for an extended period of time.
