DB Ultima H RNase Inhibitor

DB Ultima H is a highly engineered RNase inhibitor of human origin designed for exceptional thermal, oxidative and storage stability.

It protects RNA against common RNases while remaining compatible with demanding workflows including high-temperature reverse transcription, direct RT-PCR, single-cell expression profiling, cDNA synthesis and in vitro RNA studies.

  • Exceptional thermal stability, including activity at 55°C
  • Highly resistant to oxidative conditions
  • Active even without DTT in the reaction
  • High activity against human RNases
  • Compatible with reverse transcriptases and DNA/RNA polymerases
  • Stable across a broad range of buffers and pH conditions
  • Suitable for direct RT-PCR from complex human samples
  • Stable for months at room temperature

Product overview

Protect RNA when standard RNase inhibitors reach their limits

RNA degradation can significantly affect the sensitivity, reproducibility and reliability of molecular biology workflows. RNases are particularly difficult to control because they are abundant, highly active and can remain functional under conditions that reduce the performance of conventional RNase inhibitors.

DB Ultima H RNase Inhibitor has been engineered to provide robust RNA protection under demanding reaction and handling conditions. The inhibitor retains activity at elevated temperatures, under oxidative conditions and after prolonged storage in commonly used reaction environments.

This makes DB Ultima H particularly suitable for workflows where RNA integrity must be maintained throughout extended incubations, elevated-temperature reverse transcription or processing of RNase-rich samples.

Stop relying on unstable DTT to protect your RNA. DB Ultima H is the only inhibitor fully active without it

DB Ultima H is the only oxidatively resistant inhibitor: Standard inhibitors on the market are very limited in oxidative resistance. This leaves the DB Ultima H the only truly oxidative resistant inhibitor even with 2% hydrogen peroxide use with no DTT. Numbers represent the same order of RNase inhibitors as it is in the first graph

.

DB Ultima H stays fully active through freeze/thaw cycles that completely destroy standard inhibitors.

Freeze/thaw cycle stability: Left: Residual RNase inhibitor activity in RT-PCR buffer with fresh 1mM DTT after a single freeze/thaw cycle at -20℃. Right: Residual RNase inhibitor activity in RT-PCR buffer with fresh 1 mM DTT after 24 hours on wet ice.

Maximize your RT-PCR sensitivity and yields: DB Ultima H stays fully active at 55°C, a temperature that completely destroys standard inhibitors.

Residual RNase Inhibitor activity after 5 min incubation at 55 ℃ in optimal buffer :DB Ultima H will enable RT-PCR in direct RT-qPCR at higher temperature; increasing yields and sensitivity 55°C is the optimal temperature for mutated M-MLV reverse transcriptase and optimal for UDG system.
